We were asked to redesign this garden to make it more manageable and to make it look very presentable. We used different sized paving slabs for the patio, which looks very effective.
Because the garden was on a steep slope, we thought it would be best to add one lot of steps leading up on to the grassed area and another lot of steps leading up to a garden path using the same paving slabs.
We then added sleeper edging around the patio and also around the steps to give it a nice finish. We left an area to the side of the steps, so plants, shrubs and bushes could be added.
